Ukrainian Delegation Arrives in Miami for Talks with Trump Envoys

(MENAFN) A high-level Ukrainian delegation touched down in the U.S. city of Miami on Friday, signaling the start of a critical round of negotiations with senior American officials, according to reports out of Moscow.

Kyiv's team arrives with considerable institutional weight, comprising Defense and Security Council head Rustem Umerov, Presidential Office head Kyrylo Budanov, lawmaker Davyd Arakhamia, and Deputy Foreign Minister Serhiy Kyslutsa.

Facing them across the negotiating table will be two of Washington's most influential power brokers — White House special envoy Steve Witkoff and President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner.

The composition of both delegations underscores the gravity of the talks, with Kyiv fielding its top defense, intelligence, legislative, and diplomatic figures while Washington deploys envoys operating at the innermost circle of the Trump administration.

No details regarding the agenda or expected outcomes of the negotiations have been made public ahead of the discussions.
